I am the Branch Manager for The Care & Support Group's North Yorkshire branch, overseeing the delivery of our care services across the North region. I am responsible for the day-to-day management of the branch, ensuring we deliver safe, effective and high-quality care. This includes overseeing our care teams, staff development, compliance, quality assurance and service delivery.
With over 17 years of experience in health and social care, I bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to my role. I joined The Care & Support Group in 2021 as a Health Care Assistant and progressed to Senior Carer, Care Coordinator and ultimately Branch Manager. Having worked my way through these roles, I understand the importance of every member of the team and the difference that compassion, commitment and good leadership make.
I began my career in the British Army with ambition to become a Combat Medical Technician, but unexpectedly found myself serving within the Royal Artillery Regiment! My military background shaped me both personally and professionally, instilling values of discipline, resilience, teamwork and accountability, which continue to underpin my leadership approach today.
I am passionate about ensuring every client feels safe, valued and supported, while maintaining their dignity, independence and quality of life. I work closely with families and multidisciplinary professionals, including social workers, district nurses and occupational therapists, to ensure care is tailored to individual needs. I also believe that supporting and developing our staff is fundamental to delivering outstanding care.
I take great pride in leading our North Yorkshire team and ensuring families feel confident and reassured that their loved ones are in safe, capable and caring hands. For me, care is about more than meeting needs; it is about building trust, meaningful relationships and making a positive difference every day.
